If I read your ?correctly.....you want to leave the edges scallops? I would not put binding on that nor would I birth it...there is an old technique that simply turns the edges of backing and top into each other with a seam and hand sews that together......am I thinking right everyone?

I think it's beautiful just as it is.

This sounds to me like the perfect edge treatment for this stunning quilt. If I had this in my home I think I'd lose lots of time just gazing at it for a while each time I passed by!

No, my eyes were too busy looking at all the fussy-cut pieces in the centers of the blocks to notice any mismatching pieces. I think it will be just fine. The blocks are the star of the quilt! Gorgeous!

I like what you've done - it's going to be a beautiful quilt, can't wait to see it finished. It's a very unique block.

I am in awe of that. It is beautiful and I don't see a problem with anything.

I agree 100% also what an awesome labor of love

If you are saying there is something wrong with it, I can't find it. It's beautiful! It makes me want to make one! All your fabric choices are wonderful.

Thank you all for your kind words of encouragement. I am going to my my husband read this as he just doesn't get it at all . I used pretty much every fabric I liked at JoAnn's! I don't have much stash... yet!
