    Default quick quilt for friend

My friend who owns a local quilt shop asked me last Wednesday if I could do a quilt top for another customer who needed it for a Christmas gift. She had planned on doing it herself but had just finished with chemo treatments and just couldn't pull herself together to do it. I picked up the kit on Wed. evening and finished it on Fri afternoon, between all the other Christmas rush. Now all she has to do is find someone to quilt it before Christmas -- looking for a miracle here.
    Hope this posts right.

You did good, both in making the top and stepping in. If she can't get it quilted, she can always wrap the top, and gift that with a note that it will be completed after the holiday (I've been known to wrap up completed blocks, not even sewed into a top!)
