I have no affiliation with this website, but it is a modern dresden plate and I think it is superb. I really like this one.

If you make up the pattern yourself is it a "modern" quilt? I am not a fan of most of what I have seen labeled as modern quilts. Some look like the Gees Bend quilts and they are not modern!!

When I first saw "Modern" I thought art that someone has to tell you it is a house for you to see it. LOL I liked these Modern designs. Thank you for the link.!!!!!!!

I made this Urban Abacus quilt for my DD, and really enjoyed the process. It is a modern pattern, but I used some not so modern fabrics too. She loved it! Lots to see on the sewkindofwonderful.com site.
