Default Howdy from south-central Texas!

My husband, Al, and I live in Bulverde, just north of San Antonio, where we retired 3 1/2 years ago from NE PA. One of our three children live here, which was our motivation, when seeking warmer climate. And we certainly found THAT! I've been sewing for over five decades and quilting for approximately 20 years, altho not nearing the level of the members of these forums. I've done knitting, crocheting, ceramics, as well as other short-term hobbies, but always wander back to the sewing machine and the products it can produce.

I actually miss the beauty of the snow however not the cold! My other two children are still in PA an battening down the hatches as we "speak."

Where in NE PA? I lived in Jim Thorpe (formerly Mauch Chunk) and Lake Harmony. Neighboring larger cities are
Wilkes-Barre, Scranton, Allentown.
