People have big dreams. I don't think they know or care just how glutted the used sewing machine market is. Let's just hope the buyers are more willing to research their purchases than the sellers are.

Totally agree with your points. I have made purchases for above what my typical buying price is but, to me, it is a special machine and worth the price.

This one gave me a chuckle. The guy must think he's got good marketing skills, he sure doesn't have service/repair skills.

That Nelco is missing some parts-most likely the ones that make it a zigzag machine. At least the price isn't crazy.

I know, I bet it went something like this- He doesn't know what he's doing but decides to try to "fix" it. Ooops, broke that knob, well, best to just take out the whole part. Now what to do. Market it right and someone will buy it.

Honey, I had this spray paint left over and I didn't know what to do with it - aha - so I sprayed it on that ugly old sewing machine you have decorating the entry way... It is refurbished now don't you love it??? gggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr - I love those older 15s......... One of the best. Ugly or not mine sews really nice. That stitch length couldn't be that hard to repair or find a part...
