I'd love to get my hands on an American like that one - provided it's got the shuttle in place. I believe that's the number 7 . . . I'd need the machine shipped but I could forgo the cabinet.

the other is a sweet setup too -

Pics 2 and 3 show the front of the machine, but only 3 is usable.

http://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst...830782240.html

Even though it is marked as a "SINGER LEMENS MULLER"

"Clemens Muller made in Dresden, clone of Singer" would be more accurite

it is still a GREAT deal for someone looking for a fiddlebase handcrank MOP for $80

I really like the two Morse machines I have - they are right up there with the Atlas machines.

That MOP machine is nice.
Weren't Atlas and Morse both made by Brother-at least on some models? For some reason I'm thinking they're related.

Most Atlas machines were Brother built but I've seen a couple that I don't think were, they didn't look like Brother machines to me. I've not been able to find a connection to Morse, but I have twin machines that are a Brother and a Morse, circa 1954 or there abouts. Most of the stuff I've read seems to like Toyota as Morse's manufacturer, but I think I've seen a couple Morse machines with that weird star that's linked to Koyo. I could be wrong. I'm getting another head ache, lol.
