A couple good deals on treadle machines.

I'm starting to see a few more reasonably priced machines. Prices have been high lately.
Here's a fun Riccar:

The cams go under the "Riccar" emblem.
I'm tempted by the New Home and the Riccar but not this week. The money just isn't there for me.

The Riccar has an internal cloth and cleat belt. I would be wanting to inspect that.

Somebody has to be smoking the wacky weed, or drinking Colorado CoolAiad. A Singer 99 (dating from the 40's) in a cabinet - t'was a nice cabinet, but not that nice. On E-Bay auction for $1,999.99! I had to laugh!!

"Swinger Sewing Machine"

http://modesto.craigslist.org/for/5146115167.html

so, does that mean that it was owned by Swingers, that it was made for Swingers, or it's a Swinger itself?

Not much of a Swinger itself since it “Has not been used since early 90's”. That could make one want to give up Swinging all together....

Hmm... a Futura2... Looks a little like a sparkly leisure suit to me... I vote it's a Swinger...
