Good for you - this quilt is absolutely stunning. Isn't it great to finish an old one that you still love?? I just finished a crewel piece that I started in 1977, and couldn't bear to toss. It moved with me 7 times, and altho intended for a brother's wedding, it is mine now- the marriage was over before our lst move

Absolutely gorgeous, I bought a cross stitch pattern from them also in the eighty's called tree of life for my Mom. She cross stitched it and I had t quilted and then I bound it and put on the tag. I was so happy with the way it turned out.

Thank you all so much for making my day. I finished this in the early 90's and gifted it back to my daughter. From that point until just a few years ago when I inherited a stash I did not quilt. I had never taken a picture of it so was very happy to get the opportunity to do so this fall. It is loved but very seldom used. I now quilt or piece a little every week, both by hand and machine.

What an awesome beauty!!! The quilting that you did just set it off perfectly. I have several cross-stitched quilts that my mother got from Herschner's. They are treasured and I know that yours is a family heirloom!!! Thank you so much for showing it to us.
