Hi! I am new to the quilting board but not new to quilting. I teach patchwork and quilting to 12 - 15 ladies every week; hard work, but very satisfying. I am currently working on our ruby wedding quilt (ok, it's a bit late because our ruby wedding anniversary was January 2007 but better late than never!). Next week I am going to Birmingham (the one in England for the Festival of Quilts, a MASSIVE exhibition with 1300 - 1500 quilts on display and LOADS of stalls all clamouring for my money. Can't wait! :-)

Welcome to the board from Ireland. I am English, and went to the Festival of Quilts last year and loved every minute (I was there two days, and it was only just enough).

What part of England are you in? I lived in Reading, Berkshire for almost 8 years before moving back home to Canada 5 years ago.
