Default Cousin's King size done!

The pattern is Crimson Roses 2 - Jan Douglas design for Maywood Season's greetings. It contains patterns for 3 different sizes! My DC chose the pattern and the fabric and she did wonderfully! I found the beautiful flannel backing in 108" and it couldn't have matched to top better! It a real quality flannel, too!
It was a labor (why do we always say "labor" or "work" when talking about our projects?) of love for the lady that got me started on quilting. she lives in Vancouver, Canada and we are meeting in Puyallup, WA for the needlework expo at the end of this month, so I will deliver then! And for those who have questions about doing machine and hand quilting together, my solution is the 5th picture.

Thanks for looking. Enjoy your day!

This quilt is just gorgeous, very traditional, beautifully done. Have fun at Puyallup. I haven't decided whether to go this year or not. It's a long trip from here, but there is so much to see.

And for those concerned about using Crayola washable markers THEY ARE WONDERFUL. Some of my marking were in for many months! I soaked in the machine with warmish water for 20mins then washed as usual with Oxy Clean and Purex detergent!
