Sorry, I forgot to post these. Got wrapped up in the Jones Hand Machine and the new buttonhole cutters, I complete forgot to post these.

Fairly well packed, but dang bubblewrap.....

Now just waiting on a spool pin.

I detest the flat remakes, and so I'm making a reproduction myself.
I'll post pics here once the parts are ready to assemble.

    Hi Steve,

Beautiful W&G with hard to find crank. Step by step procedure for making W&G spool pins:

Oh, I've read that... Before I got this in fact... Wanna see a quick cheat? (EXCLUSIVE TO QB for now, I have not shared this idea on other sites)

you can either look up DORMAN (yes, Dorman auto parts) # 555-099 or look here

been following W&G's for awhile myself. Only seen one in person, at the local OSMG shop. Sure is a lot of variation as to what sellers think they're worth! Partly I'm guessing, because they see patent dates and think that's how old they are. Not always true...

That is sooo true! I tried to educate a seller or two that their "electric from the factory" machine was NOT from 1860. One was so bad, he said someone else told him his machine was a very early one based on the serial number, but it had the newer style tension and spool holder, and came on a base with the motor. He told me he thought the motor must have been added at some point.

He did drop his price to $200 (was asking $400) and it was still there last I looked. I bought mine for $200 with case, accessories and 2 manuals, and it is a much nicer machine.
