Default June Taylor Shape Cut Pro Ruler

Can someone tell me the difference in the two rulers that are described as both being 20 x 23" except the price? One is $51.99 and the other is $96.78. They both say the slots are 2-1/2" apart,

I want one that's tall enough to cut across folded WOF.

Did you notice on the more expensive one, it looks like the WalMart site, but says "sold and shipped from "Stuff4u" or something like that. Aparently, somone is trying to make money at your expense!! Upon further looking, they don't have a very good rating, either. 75% is all. I wonder how they are able to make it look like you are buying from WalMart!! I don't like being deceived.

If you notice all the June Taylor shape cutters say the same thing. I actually pay my account at Wal-Mart and anything over $50 is shipped free to my house.

If you go to her website the pro (which is the one you indicated that you wanted) is 78.39.

Actually I THINK the one I wanted is the $51.99 one (free shipping)(slots every 2-1/2" max 10" cut x WOF) I already have a smaller one that cuts every 1/4") I just can't get a handle on the difference because the description for both say the same thing.

I think they are the same but sold by different companies, I guess. I have the first one listed and love it... I'm rotary cutting challenged!

I think if you want to cut a 24" strip you want the very big one which they have at Joann's - 23"x20" wide so you can whoosh right up those 2 1/2" strips. I have one and I love it.

$83 bucks and I gotta say if you car cutting strips it beats moving the ruler and trying not to wiggle the fabric at every whoosh!

I've been using my smaller shape cutter BUT I have to sub cut my lengths to approx 10-1/2" wide & fold in fourths 0(. I am trying to do a Bonnie Hunter quilt using 2-1/2 squares from my stash & I'm getting pretty tired of doing it the way I've been doing it. Time for something better!

I bought a used shaper cutter and I love it. It's 12 x 12 and I would love to have a bigger one but this one does what I need. A cinch for cutting strips and then squares. Mine is starting to crack and I've duct taped parts of it to keep it going. I want to contact the guy that does the laser cut templates and see if he can do one of these at a more reasonable cost.

Why is it called Shape Cut? The name alone would make me think it would also do squares and triangles. Why not Strip cut if that's what it does? I see there are some rulers for the shapes, but the name is misleading.
