I used a printed panel rather than doing the applique background which the pattern called for. I'm not using the "c" word.
Hello! Anyone home?

I'm the Moose,
that's on the loose.

Just checkin' in,
maybe there's a cookie in the bin.

I'm ready, on the go,
but not without a sweet "Hello!"

I immediately thought of the cartoons Rocky and Bullwinkle. "Here's Bullwinkle at cha!"

I loved seeing the previous picture of the moose and found a quilt shop in this area had the kit already made up for it -- the kit included the binding and backing fabrics as well as the buttons. I am not sure I will use all the fabric that was included as we all want our creations to be somewhat unique in our own choices. Using the panel is quicker and it sure works. A woman in another shop that I showed the pattern too loves moose also and she wanted to get the kit. The shops here don't carry just the pattern.

Moose really aren't this cute and when they leave large footprints in your grass and eat on your flowerbed as well as leaving moose pellet wherever they go they are a real pest and it helps having a cute picture like this to look at.
