Red face Happy Scrappy Minis - Herringbone and Lillies

Playing with strips one day I decided to make another Herringbone! It's 6x8.5. Love all the scraps in it, especially the raccoon and dinosaur. Many of the fabs are gifts from a friend.

Then I wanted to make the Lillies quilt. The hst's were gifts from another friend. I just added the buds. The inner borders were just the right size from another friend. The binding is from my mother's stash. What a quick one this one was! It's 8x10. Both are gifts. I love playing with others' scraps! Hope you enjoy my minis and are inspired to make one!!

So small. Really cute too! I love your lilies. I may copy it for my daughter. She's a Lily after her grandmother and her daughter is Lily as well.

You have such fun when you play. How did you attach the buds?

Fast and easy with raw edge applique! Elmer's glue and measure 3/8" on the diagonal line on your ruler and cut. HST's were squared to 2.25" and finish at 1.75". Easy peasy!! Top stitch in place! Someone will love it! Have fun! n2
