Default quilt of valor

jrhboxers sent me this quilt of valor to quilt for her as a gift to a very dear friend (who is in the Navy)and his wife who have been re-stationed to another place. This quilt is going to be gifted to them before they leave out. Jane asked me to quilt an all over design that would go with quilt. She picked out 3 pantos to choose from. She also wanted varigated red/white and blue thread on the top. As always, Jane's piecing is immaculate. I love quilting her quilts. Here is a picture of the finished, ready to bind quilt. It is happily on its way back home for the binding. What do you think?

I think you did a beautiful job and she will love it. The red white and blue thread is clever.

Awesome quilt and quilting. Are the husband and wife going to be stationed at the same place? If they are going to different places who is going to get the quilt? Best of luck to the both of them. BrendaK
