I have this white eyelet elastic dust ruffle on my queen size new mattress. But, ughhhh, it sags in between corners.
… What to do (without too much work)?

Is the elastic inside a casing? Or is it sewn directly to the dust ruffle?

I have the kind that has a thin sheet that goes between the mattress and the box springs. It stays in place the year round. How about using a large curved needle and some quilting thread to stitch around the mattress edge. If you used large stitches, they would be fairly easy to remove for washing.

I put a bottom sheet on my box springs and mark the top outer edge with some sort of line I can see. Then I sew the ruffle to three sides of the bottom sheet. Keeps the dust ruffle in place.

I was going to suggest screw pins as well. It's what I use because I buy a king size comforter, because I like the extra drape,which comes with a king size bed skirt so have to make it fit my queen size bed. I do it by putting some extra pleats in it and tacking them with screw pins.

I made my dust ruffle for the guest room. It is attached to the box springs with T-pins. They work great!! Push them right down from the top.
