I'd love to make one but don't know how to pick out a great fabric....you folks seem to do it so well!

I asked to owner of a quilt shop to help me make a selection. She was more than happy to point me in the right direction. Now I just have to make it...

Just gorgeous! I have just finished piecing mine and have to quilt it. How did you quilt yours? In the ditch? Did you just outline the hex pattern? I'm thinking of doing this - outlining the hex shapes without any interior quilting to them, but am having trouble figuring out how to outline them without a lot of back-tracking and/or stop/starting. My pattern, like most, is so busy that any quilting inside the hexes seems to me to be a waste of time? Would love to hear what others have done.

That turned out beautiful. Great fabric!! I like your arrangement. I tried this once and could never get the arrangement to my liking. This is so lovely!
