June, are you sure YOU didn't snag those missing socks, on their way past you? You seem mighty eager to throw suspicion elsewhere, to be totally innocent. Just sayin' . . . .

Neesie is playing detective without a license.

Isn't that the truth. I have three of them that try this trick all the times. Th worse part about it is that sometimes it works.

Sorry. My cats take the prize for this trick. They take it to an art form. Cunning and sneaky....whereas my dogs bounce around with a goofy grin and waggly hind end asking anyone they meet if they'd like to give them a little nosh cause, you know, they got a little empty spot that needs filling.

The cats feign near starvation (no matter how recent their last feeding) and prey on the weakest link in the human food chain. (That would be me.) AND turn their noses up at (yuck!) dry food. I am such a patsy.

Here it is on youtube and the words are below to sing along!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6G_H2pKX4R4

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy leaves are so unchanging;
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy leaves are so unchanging;
Not only green when summer's here,
But also when 'tis cold and drear.
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy leaves are so unchanging!

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Much pleasure thou can'st give me;
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Much pleasure thou can'st give me;
How often has the Christmas tree
Afforded me the greatest glee!
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Much pleasure thou can'st give me.

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy candles shine so brightly!
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy candles shine so brightly!
From base to summit, gay and bright,
There's only splendor for the sight.
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy candles shine so brightly!

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
How richly God has decked thee!
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
How richly God has decked thee!
Thou bidst us true and faithful be,
And trust in God unchangingly.
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
How richly God has decked thee! !"

LOL! Neesie,
My Lucy Lou is a Clepto. if anything is missing, she will have it in her mouth. She is so fast you don't even see her take it. I had to put my SS box up high though...she s eyeing it intently!

I thought I'd better post that I have received my ss package. I have been without internet access for a while but I was able to get a pm to Terri. My package does have a sweet jingle to it. Waiting.....waiting.....waiting!
