Default Looking for the best Grand Rapids Mi quilt shop

I'm heading to Grand Rapids, MI and can squeeze in only two quilt shop visits. What are your favorites for inspiration, creativity and variety?

    Thank you.

I have been to Attic Windows on Alpine Ave. It is a very nice shop and has a good variety of fabrics. There are at least 2 Fields Fabrics in the area and they are much larger but also carry other than quilting fabrics. Just heard of a new store that recently opened but haven't visited yet. It is called Stitched Studio and is located at 1144 East Paris. Hope to visit there next time I go visit family. Enjoy your time there where ever you go!

    Thanks for the suggestions

    Attic Windows
    Stitched Studio
    and Fields.

I've seen advertisements of Fields and wasn't too sure about it. Because of the advertised store size and number of stores, I thought it might be like a Hobby Lobby or JoAnn.

Fields does make me think of Joann's BUT loaded with name brand, LQS quality, designer fabrics!!!! Moda, robert Kaufman, Michael Miller, RJR, you get the idea!!! They also have utility and home dec fabrics as well as patterns, quilting as well as garment, and notions, notions, notions! Definately worth a visit!! They have a section of older lines of fabrics that are $5.99 or less per yard.

I use to live outside Grand Rapids before I quilted.
    The
Fields use to be similar to Joann's. but with local flair.

You can always Google the name of the town with quilts shops attached. They also have reviews posted. Have fun !!
