That is absolutely gorgeous, I hope you are keeping this for yourself. I don't have a LA so don't do all of the beautiful quilting that many of you do, but I absolutely love your roses you quilted, I have never seen this design on quilts. This is a breath taking piece of beauty. Please share more pictures of this beauty.

Default Entire rose embroidery picture

Here's another picture of the piece that has the roses embroidered on it. As you can see, it's a small round piece that works on a table or dresser. I like it with candle light nearby. I found it in one of my local shops and the embroidery part with the cutwork around the edges was already finished. I knew that it would be perfect for some quilting with roses that I had been wanting to do, so I added the batting and backing to the center section and completed that part, then trimmed close to the roses so the open area would still show through. It was lots of fun to do!

...trying to figure out the set up.......so your computer did the quilting of the background....then you sewed on the embroidered cutwork over it? Or, the computerized quilting was done around the already sewed on embroidered work, or the embroidered work is part of that background fabric and you had to program the computer to quilt around it?
