Default granny square purse

I have put together a granny square purse that needs fabric lining. Would you iron a stabilizer to the fabric to make it stiffer? Any suggestions would be helpful.

I've used fusible fleece in purses and I like the structure it gives bags. I also love it in handles. It makes the handles really soft.

I also use fusible fleece but if I want very stiff sides (like in the case of a larger tote) I use Simply Stable. It's expensive but you really don't use that much. You can get all the information about it and how it works if you google Simply Stable and I love it in certain applications
