Default Bonnie Hunter new Mystery Quilt

I plan on making this new quilt but I have a question from those of you who have done her previous mystery quilts.

She says she will be posting New blocks every Friday. I assume she did this in the past and I wonder if you were able to keep up each week? It seems to me that it would reuire 100% dedication to her quilt to keep up - am I right about this? I'm just trying to figure out what I ' m getting into. Thanks.

She doesn't expect everyone to keep up. She suggests that you put aside what you have done one week and go on to the next so you know what to do with all the steps. You finish at your leisure after the mystery is reveled.

I have been collecting fabric according to her paint chip selections. I'm excited to start!

It is not a whole block revealed each week, usually just a section of the block or blocks.

It's not a race. Many wait to see what the end result is before making it. It's fun to follow along though.

She mentions to get a few pieces done each week, that way you can put at least one block together at the end.

I have been collecting my fabrics and am excited to get started. It will be my first BH mystery quilt.

Hope you join, too.

Thanks everyone - just wanted to get a feel of how she ran the mystery quilt. I'm really excited about this quilt as the colors are so luscious and way out of my comfort zone. This will give me a chance to do something much different then what I am accustomed to. I have my paint samples but need to get out and shop for my fabric.

I also brought this up at our quilt guild and several members are joining in.

I have been thinking of doing this quilt. Just how do you go about getting the patterns? New at this sort of thing.
