Post Christmas Quilt - almost finished by Christmas

My goal was to finish this quilt well before Christmas, but life prevented that. I did have it finished three days after Christmas. This was originally a baby quilt, but I modified it to make it a larger lap quilt and made it using Christmas fabrics. It is completely hand quilted - which took me about 5 months, and has been laundered. I like washing them because of the look it gives the quilting. Enjoy!

It is lovely and certainly worth waiting for. The fabric choices take it beyond 'Christmas' and into 'winter wonderland.'

Beautiful quilt. Love the colors and like you, I wash all my quilts when finished because it does give them a real quilty look.

It's beautiful! Your hand quilting looks perfect! I would also call it a winter quilt as it is not just Christmas fabrics! You have done a wonderful job!

I agree with greenheron that you can use this all winter too. Love the fabrics, pattern, and most of all the quilting. What is the pattern. Lovely!!

You did a beautiful job on your quilt! The hand quilting certainly complements the quilt. What a acomplishment.
