here's mine, had to copy from other quilting site and then paste, couldn't get photo to upload. more than one way to skin a cat, as my Mom used to say. not sure how I'm going to finish it, may have enough purple to do the binding.

Judy, I can see doing this one controlled, using 7 fabrics - 4 squares in center, 1 for inner triangles, use same 4 as squares for outer triangles (put opposite the squares) and then sashing and stars.

Debbie: Love the way yours turned out. Some part of me loves the order and harmony that a controlled scrappy gives, yours is beautiful. Also very classy kicks, love quilts with feet.
Jo: I think what you are seeing re the last border is a distortion done by the camera because the last row is folded into the angle of the wall. It's actually the same as all the others.
Whitepine: I had the same dilemma. I really wanted to go scrappy because that was my resolution at the beginning, but I felt that I needed to go light if I used scrappy. My fear was that it would kind of wash it out if I used my lights, which are mainly white backgrounds. That was before I saw the beautiful multi colored stars.
You guys are the bomb, with all the encouragement, not even to mention all the ideas I get from watching you post. Love these train rides. Judy, thank you so much. You truly are a great designer.

Emma and dear1953, both quilts turned out beautiful! I love all the quilts shown so far. This is my first *real* scrappy and I am delighted with each step. Can't believe I am not seeing even a dent in my scraps. Guess I'll have to join along in the next train ride for sure!

Kass, try it you'll like it! I felt the same way about scraps, probable why I have so many. It is so interesting how colors that you think just wouldn't go together....do!

Makes me want to make another one but think I will wait for Judy to come up with another idea soon. Got some more blocks in the mail today(3) Oh what fun. we may have to make this a tradition. Just dont loose all your quilts just let us come up with who we will send to. Make sense? jo

You might need to resize your picture. It is probably too big.
I use my ipad for most pics but find that this board will not accept them anymore. I post them onto pinterest and then can slide the picture onto here. Hope this helps.
BTW, I love your quilt!

Wow! Everyone's quilts are absolutely beautiful!! Amazing how using the same pattern but using different fabrics make each one so unique. By the looks of all the blocks going to Jolo, she sure is going to be thrilled
