I joined! I think I'm going to wait and ask my partner what her dream destination is, and do my mug based on that, rather than mine.

Wow, after a couple of hours picking out bad fmq stitches, a very tired neck and one cold cup of tea, I am finally sewing the binding onto my partner's mug rug. All that's left to do is take pics and package everything up. Her package will be on it's way tomorrow am.

Dh was supposed to be off to camp today with his brother to rake the roof and get in some snowmobiling. My two days of sewing and playing went out the window - wind chill is supposed to reach -50 at camp. Yep, guess it's best for the 'boys' to stay home. All's not lost, he called a friend to go ice fishing and now he's making home made enchiladas. Yum!

Better go finishing that binding.

best,

Here's a finished snippet of rwquilts mug rug.

I will not be playing in next month's swap. I have several projects that need doing, including covers for my serger and cover stitcher and I'd like to get a past Row by Row assembled and quilted. I'll be popping in and ooohing and aaahing over all your goodies though.

Best,

rwquilts package is on its way! Woohoo. (I have sent a pm to rwquilts and swap mom with tracking info) It always feel lightening to send off swap partner packages.

I have taken pics but will wait to hear from her if she would like me to post them or if she wants to be surprised on Thursday.

rwquilts does amazing work and anyone who if fortunate to have her for a partner is in for a treat.

Best,

Oh dear lynnie, not 'doing', that puppy is done, done and done! Phew, I never expect to be one of the final few but history tells all. I'm pleased how it turned out - there was a certain amount of 'tension' stitching it out but I got through it. I just hope rwquilts will like it.
