You ladies are making and sending wonderful mugrug packages to your partners! I love them all! Makes me anxious to join in the fun again next month. I'm almost finished with my studio redo and will post a couple of pictures when it's all done...before a project of course, cause it'll never look clean again once I begin to sew...
Keep the pictures coming!

There are some really great looking MRs this time around. I still can't get over how talented everyone is. These little things are so addictive, love making them. I'll probably never use the ones I've received, they are just too pretty. My great nephew Zach, says that I should figure out a way to hang them at the window in my sewing room. So I'm working on that, was thinking that maybe I'll use sheer curtains and hand tack the MR's on that so that everyone who walks into the room sees them right away. Anyone else have an idea of how to display them?

Spray paint some old fashion wood clothes pins..then glue a magnet to the pin and you can attach to a metal surface...or string a line and hang them like Tibetan prayer flags....

Rosemary, I have beach on the mind. sorry if I misinterpreted it.
the flip flops are not to difficult to make but can be tricky.

How to make flip flops

get timtex the really stiff nterfacing. or get the stiffest you can find.
trace shoe pattern onto 100% cotton batting and timtex and fabric.
stitch all together in this order, timtex, batt, and fabric. I just tack them qabout 1/8" all around.
You NEED to make bias tape 2 1/2" wide. stitch this all the way around, stopping and starting at big toe position.
turn this over and stitch it down on the back. cut a piece of 4-1/2" wide fabric by 1/2 of the width of the fabric (about 22") stitch and turn. this will be the bow. I stop and start in th middle, coz that will be under the foot. turn and iron. if you want, you can put a single layer of batt in between. (this makes it harder to tie the knot) USE THE 6000glue for all purpose . stitch the bow strip under the front of the foot. I try it on first. I sew it down the sides and in an "X" get out that glue and clue the top to the flip flop. oh, forgot to tellyou to cut the thong piece off of the flip flop. when you glue it down, use some weights to hold thill it's dey, when it's dry, try on and tie bow. of course the bow is adjustable. have you seen the wedge flip flops. I made them a bit dressier. came out cute.

All the mug rugs are so uniquely different...and just awesome! Everyone's creativity is so inspiring to me...
I was so surprised to get mine from Difergie today. She blew me away with her work!
She also enclosed some cute note cards.
Here's a pic:

I seriously can picture myself in Ireland! I so appreciate the time and thought you put into it, and thanks for the note cards, too.
I need to get yours quilted, then it'll be "flying" your way.
