Default I am in tears .. my beautiful 223 was destroyed in shipment

I cannot believe it. my beautiful 223 was almost totally destroyed. they wrapped a single layer of bubble wrap around the case and stuck it in a box. at 40 lbs. , it would not make it. I am in total disbelief that it was so damage. and in tears...

I think I would be more than a little furious. Anger at such stupidity! Anyone with half a brain would know better than to package it so poorly! I am really sorry that this happened to you. I never send anything without insuring it! Sure hope your seller had it properly insured!

I bought it from the Jacksonville FL GW. I sent a email with pics and was very direct in my anger at the pathetic job they did packing it. I have bought machines from other GW sites in the past and have never had any issues....

That is awful....what an horrible way to treat a sewing machine! It wasn't even shipped that far...only 1 state. Geeezzz, if they wrapped a towel around it, it would have been safer.

Oh no. I am so sorry for you! I was thinking the GW's ship enough machines they must know what they are doing. UGH. Apparently not. I hope you are reimbursed for the damage and can repair it it. There is no taking back the pain and misery when you opened the package.

I'm so sorry that this happened to you.
This is why I don't buy a machine that has to be shipped! Most people don't know how to properly pack a machine so that it doesn't end up like yours.
