Default Bonnie Hunter's "Perkiomen Daydream" Omaha style

10,000 pieces, finishing to 1" square, 100" x 100". Started in October 2014, finished 2-26-15. Bonnie Hunter's book, Scraps and Shirttails book. My trick to stay motivated, was to put on my favorite Netflix series, and sew for a couple of hours at a time. I pinned the strata sections into packs of 10, so it was simple to keep track of where I was because I needed 400 of each strata. In no time at all, I had 5 baskets with the needed 400 strata of each. Then the assembly began.

Good Lord!!! It only took a bit over a year? Did you cut 1/12 inch strips and then sub cut them into strips? i have made one with two inch strips and that was difficult. I can't imagine using anything smaller. You mut have the patience of a Saint. LOL

What a fabulous quilt. I too work in very small pieces on the majority of my quilts... so I know the diligence it takes to create this master piece . Awesome!
