Default Singer 127 from a Quilting Friend

I've been slow on getting these photos of my fun new machine posted. A quilting friend wanted it to "go to someone who would give it a good home." ( YAH. Isn't that a good friend?) I have located a free manual online and have printed it off but have not really played with or given it the "spa" treatment yet. Soon.

It's in lovely shape too! It would make a nice hand crank. Lucky you to have such great friends!

It's in great shape! the Sphinx decals I usually see are much more beat up. If it doesn't have the motor boss converting to a handcrank won't be that easy. The 27s take a special crank that replaces the belt guard. They're hard to find and generally expensive when you do.

Thank's, Rodney. I didn't know that. I'm content right now just having as a conversation piece on my coffee table!

That is a nice looking machine. Did you get a cabinet for it also? I'm trying to thin my extra cabinets out a bit.

My treadle machine is a model 27. It's a fun machine to use and has an action different than my other Singers.
    I think you'll enjoy yours.

This is a lovely machine! I hope you can get a treadle cabinet and set her in motion.
