Default Eleanor Burns Flying Geese

So many of you say you use EB's method for making flying geese. My question is, how do you learn her method?

She has demo it on her Quilt in a Day series shown on your local PBS and in her books. It is the method I use because just before you sliver trim the block, you have a chance to make any adjustment with your seam so they come out perfect every time.

this is the reason that i also use her method. i have not purchased her ruler, i just use my own ruler and trim to the correct unfinished size, the same as i do with the square up blocks... making sure that the point is the correct 1/4" from the edge

I learned from the instructions that come with her ruler. I know you don't have to have her ruler, but the markings on it, and its exact size, make it so easy. The only down side is that you need the right size ruler for your flying geese.

She also has a new ruler that does all of the sizes. It is set up like the Nune Taylor Shape Cut rulers.
