Default The 'Log Cabins' have been reapired!!

THANK YOU! to all who had given ideas, etc on how to repair all those cabins!! I wanted to give up after wearing out a rippers, rotary cutter & my nerves!! But the top is done now & I am pretty happy! Still a few 'crooked logs', but I'm OK with that. I was ready to give up completely, there for a while..However, now I think I will make another & try all those suggestions for a 'perfect' Log Cabin village!!
I made this to donate to the local Historical Society, for a raffle, to raise money. I live in a small town called 'Pine Grove' hence, the historical 'log cabins' in the 'Pine Grove'

And I'll be willing to bet that the Pine Grove Historical Society will be so pleased you chose to donate this pretty quilt to be raffled off! Hope it brings top dollar!

This Pine and Log Cabin quilt is just beautiful, it reminds me of a ski slope... someone gently enjoying the drifting zig zag train down from the top of the mountain down down down. And putting it on the white background makes it extra special in a wintery way.

How effective that looks with the logs going down the side. Well done on staying with it.

This is a lovely top! I especially like the pine trees in the middle and the wandering path of the smaller triangles. I did not see the previous postings about crooked logs - and can't see anything wrong with these - they look great to me!
