I love that pattern, I have made it too. That mistake was quite easy to make. I made it several times myself. Glad you could correct it.

It took me a while, but finally found it and my assessment is, I would turn all the rest of them to that position, makes for a more interesting illusion to my way of thinking.

It doesn't really stand out. I have a Summer Porch quilt I made with a block turned wrong and it is already quilted! OH well,....

I don't know, as long as it took me to find it, I'd leave it. I found it interesting that my eyes just could not see it!!

Isn't it funny how you can look at something, and just have this "feeling" that something is wrong, but can't for the life of you find it! Until you do, and then you can't un-see it! I love this quilt, though. I think the black gingham was a perfect choice!

If that's your first mistake you're doing pretty good. I teach quilting classes now and I always tell my students all the mistakes I've made so they will be able to miss making the same ones. I think I've made them all over the years.

I love to see gingham coming back.... and I hear calico will be back soon as well. I think I still have some of both.

Took me a while to find it too! Love the black and whites mixed with brights---that is what I have been making lately too!

Great looking quilt and took me a moment. I actually got up out of my chair walked out of the room back in again then found it. LOL! Fresh (2nd and 3rd pairs) of eyes help a lot.
