online? I'm seriously thinking about getting the GO Electric (I have the regular GO right now) so I've been looking at the Accuquilt sight and they are featuring the GO Electric with $50 of free additional dies. However, I am going to a quilt show on Saturday (the Pleasanton Quilt, Craft and Sewing Festival) and just realized that maybe I should look for the Accuquilt booth. Is there a benefit to buying at a quilt show?

Have not been lucky enough to go to a quilt show recently, but LOVE my Go electric! My DD and Hubby ordered mine from the site for Christmas. I also have the regular GO...backup in case the power goes out! Ha!

I think the no shipping if bought at the show would make up for the sale online.

sometimes they may make special deals at the show which make it very appealing. I would ask if they are offering any incentives to purchase at the show vs the site.

It may very well be a dealers booth and not accuquilt.

Thanks. I've only used my GO for 3 passes through the rollers so it still in completely new condition.

I love the idea of a back up for when the power is out, but I have the idea to gift my GO to my quilt mentor who I know wants one but just hasn't justified spending the money on it.

I bought my Go at the Road to CA show, but I don't know if there were any incentives to buy it there vs on-line. But I do believe it was discounted some, just can't say that for sure. I liked they had racks and racks of the dies - they had someone demonstrating various dies so you could see a secondary pattern from the dies. It was QIAD that had the booth, but it was not part of the QIAD booth.

Usually if you order from Accuquilt there are no shipping charges if you spend over $100.00 - and they don't charge tax on-line. (Not sure why, but not for me to complain.)

When I bought mine at the show, I had to carry it to the car. They gave me great bags to use, but it was heavy. I would have much preferred to have it delivered to my house.

Luckily you can go to the show and if there is no big financial benefit you can order it on-line when you get home and accumulate your rewards points. Just check the web-site before you go, they list all their prices.

One of my QB friends from Texas bought her at the LQS. They allow you to borrow for free dies for a couple of days. I would think THAT option would be invaluable.
