I think the green would be better. The plaid is nice but it would take the focus away from the piecing. Love that pattern!

That plaid is JUST PERFECT! Look "made for each other".

Either one will be a lovely finish.

I love your color choices, sherbet: Orange & Lime. I adore poppies, also.

I'm still learning to step out of my comfort zone.

While neither of your two border fabrics is "wrong," I prefer the mottled green print over the plaid. Yes, the colors in the plaid are in your quilt, but the plaid seems to draw attention to itself. The mottled green print flows from the intricacy of your quilt blocks toward the binding and allows the eye to rest before it gets there. I hope this makes sense to someone besides me.
