Default Lucky Goodwill Find

Yesterday DH and I decided to go to a Goodwill that is not our local store but one where we have found nice sewing things. A couple of months ago, DH found a Horn cabinet that just needed a good cleaning and was priced for $10. Yesterday he found the "coup de gras" of a sewing table...a card table with the insert/cut out for a Featherweight it was priced at $3.99!!! It was senior day so he got 15% off of the table and there was another promotion in which they gave him a $5 coupon to use on another visit.

I could have fainted when he came up to me with it and said "is this that card table you were telling me about"? I was in total disbelief, all I could do was gasp and nod my head yes. A Featherweight has been on my wish list for a couple of years, I certainly didn't expect to find the table before the machine but so happy he did!

Does not look like one for a FW to me - still a very good deal, but I'm not sure if this is the 301/401 or the other style.

Most people do not know that Singer made this table in four configurations.

if you scroll down you'll see what the cutout for the FW (221) looks like. it's very distinctive.

Yours looks most likely it's for the 301 long bed machine.

I think it is for the 301 also, and in my unasked for opinion highly superior to the FW.

good deal either way
