The old guys selling them get a bang out of how I look the whole pile over then select one with a blade I like. My husband just rolls his eyes.
The Chapman bits are made to break before the screw does, therefore I love them! I just added to my collection of chapman by ordering several bits from Brownells I now have a bit for almost every screw I need to remove. The gunsmithing bits are well worth the money at 2.99 a bit.

It can be purchased online and some industrial suppliers also carry it. Check out KanoLaboratories.com or call them at 615-833-4104. PM me if you have any problems for additional solutions.

My husband gets Kroil from a local industrial/hardware supplier that does counter sales. He says its the best he's seen since he discovered it 30 years ago. Not cheap, but a little goes a long way.

A hint for removing stubborn screws... After soaking with your penetrating fluid of choice, use the LONGEST shafted screwdriver you can find that fits. The additional torque that you can apply through the longer shaft will help remove screws that you cannot budge with a shorter screwdriver. Also when trying to loosen a screw that is stubborn, push down as well as rotating.

NOTE of caution: a longer shafted screwdriver can also be easier to lose control of, slip and scratch your machine.
