My friend is considering purchasing a Ruby treadle machine. She is concerned that there isn't much info online, and that she might have a problem if she needs parts. I told her about this forum (although I haven't been on here in a couple years) and said I would see what you folks have to say. Thanks so much!

A pic would be nice. Ruby is a badged New Home. She will be able to find lots of information on New Home. I have a Ruby and it is a great little machine.

I have a cute little Ruby, too. Mine came with a crumbling manual and a nice set at attachments for a Standard sewing machine and no they don't fit Ruby. my Ruby matches Glenn's.
