Default Hate to take this down

Made this for myself, and now I should put it away till next Christmas season, but barely got it finished in time for Christmas eve. My other decorations are all stowed away.

Would love to see more pictures of this. Is it a panel? I really like how the blocks in the outer border come just a wee bit into your inner border. It will be like a Christmas present to yourself when you pull it out next year to decorate with. Now you need to make another pretty wall hanging for the rest of year!

Why don't you leave it up a bit longer? It is so pretty!

It is beautiful I can understand why you hate to take it down. I am just finishing a Christmas tree skirt and won't get to use until next Christmas.

I agree! Wait until after Valentines day or not. If it makes you happy and makes you smile, leave it up. I have a dancing SAnta Claus and he sits on my shelf next to a Leprachaun who likes to dance. You should see the pups reaction when they're both dancing. I had a tree up through Valentines. Kept it watered for that long. Smelled good and reminded my son of good times. He negotiated the price on the tree.

I left something up one year until March so I could enjoy it and then I just HAD to put it away before the flowers started blooming. It is so pretty I would be tempted.

Hate to take it down? Then DON'T. It's lovely, it's your house, there are people who leave Christmas trees up all year, it's your choice. If it makes you happy just leave it up and enjoy it.

It's very pretty. It's yours, so you can leave it up as long as it makes you happy! You'll know when to take it down.
