Default New to me PQ1500s doodling around

Hey all,
After months of dithering I decided to go for a PQ1500s (to supplement my other 3 machines LOL) because of the extra throat space for FMQ. I found a used one on Ebay and it showed up at my door last night. Of course, I had to play with it. So here's my first doodle on my new/used PQ1500s:

Super for a first doodling!!! Can't wait to see what you can do with a little practice.

Thanks Tiggersmom. I've been FMQ on quilts for many years, but never did much doodling around--unless you count making small quilt sandwiches to test tensions and thread choice as doodling...

If you would just add "ice" to this doodle, you could name it "Fire and Ice". I like it very much.

You need to doodle on a quilt. It would be great.

Your doodling is fantastic. Think you are ready for a quilt. Be sure and show us when you do. My biggest problem is what to put where.

Nice doodling. I confess i had not heard of this machine so promptly went and checked it out online. It is now on my shopping list. My viking sapphire got messed up during a tune up and and has never worked well since. I do not care to plunk down thousands for another machine. Very happy to see there is something out there that will do a good job for a price i can afford. Did you have any bobbin tension issues last night?
