Thanks for the nice comments.

I did a quick cleaning job and rewired the motor and it seems to work quite nicely.

Now to share my embarrassing moment. I put the motor together after rewiring and plugged it in. Pushed on the foot pedal and nothing happened. I ended up taking the motor apart again, including clipping off the ring connectors from the motor wires. After getting it completely disassembled I realized that I had not put he carbon brushes back in. (won't make that mistake again). Put it all back together and all was fine.

Very nice. I've so far resisted buying a 15-91. But if one were to fall into my lap, I don't think I could say no.

I bought it mainly because the cabinet has so much storage space. I've been storing most of my sewing machine stuff in my treadle cabinet, these extra drawers will be nice. I keep thinking I won't get any new machines, but I really enjoy fixing them up.

What a lovely family of machines. My daughter has a 15-91 that she really likes. My favorites are my 101's, but I recently got a 201 to use in the dining room and it has a cabinet one drawer on the right. The cabinet isn't original to the machine. More drawers are always good!

What a pretty cabinet. I am sure she won't notice.

I spent the morning organizing a couple sewing machines with the cabinets I want them in. I kicked the 15-91 out of this cabinet and put my 201 in there. It was not set up for a knee controller so I took some stuff out a beat up cabinet and installed it. It was challenging since this cabinet was not designed to take a knee controller, but I made it work. You can see the knee/foot controller in the picture.

The 201 is the machine I use the most so I want a cabinet for it that can hold everything I might need, this one will work quite well.

Looks like a great fit! A week or so ago on Craigslist there was a 15-91 in the same cabinet, but the cabinet was in much rougher shape, I went looking for the ad to show you but it was gone. If it shows up again I will send it to you, as I recall they were asking more than $22.

My family congregates in the living room, dining room and bedrooms. Tell your Mrs. it could be worse!lol Your machine looks great and for 24 bucks is a real win.
