    Default Tim's "Vintage Tins" quilt

    When I saw this (http://www.crabapplehillstudio.com/vintage-tin.html)

I knew I had to make it for a special cousin. He restores antique/vintage cars and motorcycles. Hand embroidered, machine pieced, hand quilted, wool batting. I went with a more copper/rust/cream palette. Sorry the pictures are not the best, the breeze would not stop blowing and I want to get this in the mail ASAP.

Wonderful quilt! Crabapple hill has great patterns and I love the way they combine red work and pieced sections.

The quilt came out fabulous. I adore your quilt label and can't stop laughing.

My sister got this as a kit. Her husband is a mechanic. She has not started it yet. I wish she would. You did a beautiful job.

You did a wonderful job on this quilt! I like the colors you chose and your embroidery and hand quilting is so nice. You found the perfect fabric for the backing. I know how much work this quilt is, as I am making one for my husband who is a lover of old cars, etc. I did mine in the colors shown in the pattern. Now need to finish up the quilting ( on my domestic sewing machine) which has taken me a long time. I keep putting it aside to work on other projects. I do really like Crabapple Hill designs.
