Default I'm Thinking Pink

I intended on painting my computer room a soft coral but the paint came out much pinker than planned, well, that's okay, I'm in a pink mood these days anyways. I planned to make a throw for the chair and saw this floral fabric on clearance at Hobby Lobby a couple weeks ago, grabbed some and then got some flannels and made this chair cuddler. It has flannel as the batting as well as the backing, just in case Spring needs a little help in the warmth department. I chose the mostly-blue print for the back in case I fall out of love with pink (a little does go a long way, I've found), I just quilted a few wavy lines down it to hold everything together and bound it with light orange. While I was at it, I went through my stash and found like-color scraps and made the quilted pillow cover.

nice and very pretty colors, spring? ha summer is already here. 20 degrees higher than normal today broke a record at 91! just a bit too soon!! still I wouldn't move anywhere else, so I'm not complaining just saying.

They look great together! Now, if the pink walls get to be too much, just hang some different colored quilts on them.
I remember as a young girl when the paint for our room came out too lavender and we had to choose different curtains and bedspreads than we had planned.
