Lawsonmugs, those are nice blocks. I still have to get to work on mine. Hopefully I will get down to the sewing room tonight. my goal is to say on track each week and finish this one on time. That would truly be a first for me on these train rides.

UH OH, Mary - put that rotary cutter down before you cut yourself. 5 days to tote that thing around without damage? Don't think so!!!

Anoka - good goal! We know you can do it

Dirty1 - just go for it!!!

This is a 1st for me! I've set my machine up next to the kitchen sink! I have my regular machine set with rayon thread and am working on satin stitching so didn't want to change it out.... thought I'd set up on the dining room table...but oh no... I am in the process of hand basting a quilt I walk from here to there and back again... a little is getting done on each project... and my little grand doggie is getting lots of exercise following me.
I am just pinning the 2½ " squares to the hst and will stitch that now before doing more hand basting....

Bluebonnet those are very pretty. I love that soft rose color. Thimblebug sounds like your almost caught up on the train ride. Everyone seems to be doing well on this one Judy.

I'm done with this step, not alot of contrast in the D and the background but that's the way it is

I'm having too much trouble with choices--I think the end-of-the-semester crash time is upon me--my brain is lagging behind the rest of me.

I'm trying something unusual for me--low contrast, soft colors. Opinions?

Here are a couple of picks. A-E (left to right): (C is actually yellow, not white and E is the same in each picture, though it looks lighter in one photo)

AngeliaNR pretty fabrics. I like the second choice the best. Of course it's yours so pick what your favorite is.lol. ( you can always make the other for me)

Thanks to you both! I don't know why I've had such trouble choosing. I usually make scrappy quilts, though, so anything goes--this is harder for me.
