Hey all - hope everyone is having some fun this summer!

I have started a quilt and it's four blocks right now looking like one of these four options:

And the last pic is if I decide to go bigger ... those are the colours I have left in the jelly roll (no more blacks and greys LOL)

Ideas? Options? Suggestions? Always welcome, and thanks so much for looking and giving your opinion!

Wow that is awesome. It just kind of pops out at you. I think I would leave it as is. I just love it! Make it an art piece for your wall!

I like the first one, maybe with red binding.

Neat blocks! I would do a block in the cream/brown combo and see how it looks against the others. It might just look muddy against the clear greys. It is pretty perfect the way it is though so if you want it bigger, a trip to the fabric store might be in order.

I vote for the first or second option. I would not mix in Browns and creams, but that's just my preference. Really attractive quilt!

I love the first option, why not make the brown blocks up and see how they mix in? If you don't like it, make two separate quilts, the one one above, whichever way you decide, and one in the browns?

Definitely putting in another vote for #1.

I'm not sure what else you're planning on doing with it. If you want to do more blocks, I'd definitely get a couple more jelly rolls to add blocks in the same colors -- but unless you plan to do 12 more blocks, I'm not sure it would produce the same effect.

I think the lightest beige is the best of the bunch as far as what I'd use for a narrow border and/or sashing.

If you're able to grab a bit more fabric, my first choice would be a multi-colored binding (see below). If you want it to be a solid color, red is always a beautiful, traditional choice. Lime green is something I've been seeing more of with the modern B/W quilts and is also quite lovely.

Here's a rough idea of a pieced binding that I'd go for. You can make each section whatever length you'd like.

I'd go buy another jelly roll then add to this quilt and keep the rest with the other strips.

Thanks all! I think I'll stop! I'm not allowed to buy more fabric hahahahaha I have to use all my fabric up so I can buy more for my winter projects!

I might do a much smaller block (1 inch strips instead of 2.5) and use up the browns.
