Default Peach Pies

No sewing this morning as I wanted to do a couple of peach pies. The first time using my lattice tops on peach pies and I see it dries the peaches a bit in the center. I will go back to solid tops the next time I do peach pies. I just took them out of the oven and they are on my cooling racks.

It is a good thing it is only a photo because I would run and grab it off your window sill. I think I can actually smell them!!

I have already made two peach cobblers this year, as well as a strawberry and a blueberry. My granddaughter and son love them! Needless to say, my husband and I enjoy them as well.

Whoa, Tartan, those look wonderful. I can almost taste them from California. Slobber, slobber, slobber. Excuse me, I need a napkin.

A couple of more weeks before peaches will be ready here in Michigan. I am in serious anticipation mode! Love to make the filling and freeze it. It is such a summer time treat come Thanksgiving or during a January snow storm. I can smell that sweet cinnamon, buttery yumminess!

You must have a gadget that pokes the holes out of a regular pie crust. My lattice criss crosses. I like lattice pies and make them all the time, I don't have a problem at all with dry pies. Your pies look pretty.
