Default Summer Flip Flop quilt for Mom
My 95 year old mother lives in an independent living apartment. It's hard to find 'gifts' for her as she really doesn't want a lot of stuff. I've been making her mini quilts to hand outside of her apartment for (almost) each month. She really seems to enjoy these and shows them off to her friends. Here is the August quilt.

Love your mini quilt!!! So would one of my DDILs who is happy she lives in Florida now and no longer in Illinois because she can indulge herself with all the flip flops she wants. Love the colors, too.

I'll bet she is popular if she gives them away. Great way for a newbie to get acquainted and meet new friends in the new apartment setting.
