Each year, our quilt guild gives us fabric to make a Christmas gift which we then exchange at our December meeting. For the past several years, we've received fat quarters. But this year, the powers that be decided we would only get ONE 6" square (we could buy extras for $.25 each but I was stubborn.) Anyway, I managed to create this table runner using that square. See the off white tiny square with red and green dots? That's the fabric we were given. I used a D9P pattern.....

Cute runner! I like your stubborn streak. They may think twice before they change the rules in the middle of things next time.

You did great! But I wonder what they were thinking about giving only one 6 inch square - that you could make a toothpick holder?

I love your table runner. More importantly, I like your steadfastness (is that a word?)

There is nothing wrong with being stubborn; when you're RIGHT :)
