Default Question about one fabric in my Bargello

I have finally got started on this Bargello. One of the fabrics I have selected seems to shout at me, but I am too far along to back up. I have decided to pretend it is a friendly fabric and not shouting at me. I think it will look okay, just not what I had visualized.

Am I crazy for deciding that? The quilt is for me. It isn't a gift and I am not even sure what I am going to do with it. I just want to make it....in 21 shades of purple.

So, have you ever left a fabric in and just decided to decide it was okay?

I am attaching a picture, and the fabric that is shouting at me is the 4th one in from the left on the strip set that is to the right of the part I have started on. (clear as mud, I know....sorry)

Hi Dina...........am not sure which piece of fabric you are talking about. That said.....it makes it easy for me to say that nothing is yelling at me.....I love the way it flows....if it were any smother it would be boring.........it is going to look fantastic...................Sherry

I love the color choices for that quilt & that piece does not shout out to me at all. It flows/goes very well.

I think I understand which one you mean, and I think it looks great. I've had fabrics jump out at me and not seem right. It can be irritating, but your bargello really does look beautiful.

Okay, thanks. If it doesn't shout out to all of you, that really helps. It is much quieter than it used to be...

I think it looks great. It gives a bit more dimension, I think.

I'm looking at this on my IPad so I was able to enlarge it. I see nothing wrong with your choices. I think whatever one you think is wrong looks right. BTW very pretty so far.
