Default Need help finding the right pattern for this fabric?

I love this fabric but I'm having a hard time finding out what pattern to use. I'm also not sure what color to use with it maybe cream or off white?

I think this is so usable in about any pattern--it's already a neutral so you don't have to use neutrals with it--could go with a deeper hue/color and be fine--like dark green, navy, rust, red, black, etc. Maybe not yellows or pastels. And it's a small enough print that you could use it with lots of other fabrics.

I agree... it's a neutral. Use it as a background for other colors in your blocks. Or it would look great as the neutral background in some plaid shirt blocks or other manly prints.

Use it with some COLOR to create contrast. If you put cream or off white with it, it will just completely wash out.

First thing I thought of was a hawaiian quilt using that fabric for design and pure white for background.

I would use that as a cream or white in any pattern! I love it!

I would suggest burgundy or dark green, a rich brown as color accents.

I love this piece. I have some of it, too. It is a good blender.

I agree about using a color, although I was thinking of a dark teal. Additionally, this would be great with taupe and greys if you wanted to continue going neutral. I still use a deep color, if only minimally.

This fabric is your neutral...........I would add any medium or darker fabric.......e.g. a colonial red, forest green, medium to dark purple, even a darker brown or rust............there are man patterns out there for 2 color quilts...........

I might use this as background fabric for a four patch or nine patch, and find fat quarters or scraps in colonial, civil war type fabrics (darker, duller colors, blues, reds, greens and browns)..........It sure would make up a beautiful quilt, and I don't think there is anything easier than a 4 patch or 9 patch bock.........

Nancy's Notions current catalog has a book or book with DVD on making the old quilt patterns with modern conveniences (like rotary cutters)............You might want to check that out on-line......

Beautiful fabric! I am sure whatever you make will be wonderful!
