Thanks for sharing your trial blocks and your idea for an orphan block box. What a great idea to use practice blocks. I need to shop my stash and find a couple of fabric choices and use this helpful idea.

I think the blocks are great the way they are and to me they do tesselate. Nice color and fabric choices.

I like them and would opt to not sash them. If more of them were to this It would look really cool.

Jenny of MQ says they don't need to match and just sew them up anyway. Even with sashing they still don't line up, it still makes a wonderful quilt
